I d’loaded the new fuller featured trial and now I have questions…

Is there a way to access a webcam’s camera controls? Exposure, WB etc.
Is there a way to have audio SFX, ie: shutter sound on exposure?
Is there going to be a manual or help file?
Will there be more keyboard shortcuts? ie: less dependence on a touch screen.

    thanks…

With a webcam or any camera you can take a photo and then double click on that image in the Photos tab to bring up an image editor that will allow a wide range of adjustment like WB, etc. Once those corrections are made there is a menu item at the top of that page that says attributes and one of the options is “save to system defaults” that will apply that correction to all new images.

We do plan to add support for playing sound files soon.

We are also working on better documentation and videos.

You can apply a variety of commands to either a mouse button (right click, left click and middle click) or one or more serial buttons in addition to the keyboard short cuts like CTRL B etc. What other keyboard shortcuts did you have in mind?

    thanks Wally…

To make sure I understand the workflow…

With a webcam or any camera you can take a photo and then double click on that image in the Photos tab to bring up an image editor that will allow a wide range of adjustment like WB, etc. Once those corrections are made there is a menu item at the top of that page that says attributes and one of the options is “save to system defaults” that will apply that correction to all new images.

So after I bring a sample image into the editor and tweak it up, ie: WB, exposure compensation and so on, I can save this as a default “bias” for booth pictures from that point forward? For any camera/input, or just the one that created the sample? So once I would tune my webcam with my lighting etc., the files created at a booth event and sent to the printer are all influenced by these settings?

I assume the Custom 1/2/3/4 etc. slots allow me to have multiple “bias” settings. Maybe different cameras or light setups.

The shortcuts I would want are to change layouts (profiles) on the fly… I use Breeze and have 2 print layouts per event. One that crops square images onto a 5 up layout and one that crops to the 16:9 ratio on a 4 up layout. I send my choice per trip via a wifi connected keypad… so a single press gives me a SHFT-CTL-1 or a SHFT-CTL-2 and so on.

The SFX are less important to me as 90% of my events are too noisy for them to be effective anyway. They’re nice to have when possible.

    thanks…

As far as the workflow that is correct as far as saving multiple settings. We do plan to support a on screen layout selector in the future and we can look into keyboard shortcuts for that as well.
