    Hey Everyone,

I am currently using the latest version of Darkroom Booth and a Canon 600d.

The issue I am having is with the video mode. I am using manual mode on the camera, then by the time I get all the setting correct and go to test video mode I get an error message on darkroom saying unable to start video mode. Is this because i’m using manual mode and the camera can’t record in manual mode?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you,

That message usually indicates that you do not have a memory card in the camera. All SLRs require a memory card that is a class 6 or faster for video recording.

    Hey Wally,

How big should the memory card be? I have a Nikon D5000 with a 32GB 95MB/S memory card, and I’m still getting the same error “Unable to start video recording”. I have tried setting the video set to “NTSC” or “PAL” but neither worked.

32 GB is large enough but make sure the card does not have the little Lock switch on the side enabled.
