Use Template Marketplace for direct download to your DARKROOM software

DARKROOM version 8.9 introduced Template Marketplace, an iTunes-inspired store built-in to the software allowing you to select single product templates for purchase and direct installation.

The Template Marketplace contains over 700 templates such as album pages, holiday card designs, sports memory mates, trading cards, calendars, layouts and greenscreen backgrounds – all available immediately and as needed – an updated regularly.

Unlike iTunes, you own your download. You will be empowered to make modifications and offer a limitless supply of print products.

To use Template Marketplace, open your (version 8.9 or newer) DARKROOM software and in the PhotoWorkshop tab click the “monocle” icon in the borders options. A pop-up will appear with “local” and “online” templates displayed.

Review the online options and purchase only what you want or need.
The software automatically loads the templates in the proper directory for you to use immediately.

Now it is easier than ever to make your own

DARKROOM’s template creation tools are incredibly powerful. The best place to start making your own templates is in the Setup tab of the software. If you are software savvy, you will be able to learn some of the basics without needing the Quick Start Guide (although it does not hurt to check it out).

In the Getting Started training video, template creation is addressed as part of your familiarization with the software.
