December 2009

BE PREPARED to
help your last minute holiday shoppers

Remember this date: December 16, 2009.
All gift orders sent to the PhotoReflect gift lab on December 16 will be shipped December 18 which means, if shipped via first class mail, pending no issues at the post office, that order (large or small) should be delivered on or before Christmas Eve. If you sell gift products through a Labtricity Lab, be sure to check in with them first (but typically they assure shipment within 48 to 72 hours after receiving the order).

After December 17, you should consider reaching out to your PhotoReflect customers about their shipping preference. They may want to upgrade their shipping to ensure delivery by Christmas.

That said, you have two opportunities to ensure the happiest of holidays. (1) If you get a PhotoReflect order, please be sure to review and fulfill (send to print) as timely as possible. (2) This information makes for a great quick promotion to your customers: Simply email them to let them know that they can order beautiful gifts from you and if they order before December 16th they can save on shipping.

2009 and 2010. Graham McFarland, CEO, looks back, looks forward and, most importantly,
thanks you.

Just think of the stories we will be able to tell to our grandchildren and great grandchildren about the world events that took place in 2009 and thankful that we all made it through.  I like to remember that we determine whether something will be a blessing or a curse by the way we choose to see it. To look back on 2009, we have a few things to be thankful for coupled with our sincerest appreciation of your support.

This month PhotoReflect celebrates its 10th anniversary and just a few weeks ago we exceeded one billion professional photo uploads since its inception.  This is a great milestone and we owe our success over these many years to our loyal and dedicated customers.

DARKROOM celebrated a milestone too, in that; Core edition 9.0 was released with rave reviews. For the first time ever, photographers seeking a complete workflow program that also includes photo editing, Photoshop plug-in, greenscreen, camera tethering and more fulfillment options than ever, can find a solution for under $500. I am delighted that our talented team was able to put this together for photographers -- which really is, and has always been our goal: To serve photographers seeking greater profits as efficiently and inexpensively as possible.

With that said, I think back on 2009 looking forward to 2010. Although it could seem we've been quiet lately, I can assure you we have been working diligently on new products and services built on the latest technologies.  The result of our efforts will be unveiled in the coming months and will continue to reflect our core mission.

As we prepare for the new year, I would like to say thank you all, again, for your support and business throughout the years.  We are blessed to be in an industry that centers itself around valuable memories of family, friends and loved ones.  Professional photography is an essential part of our social fabric and proven to be the world’s greatest storyteller.

Happy Holidays and best wishes from the ExpressDigital family.
