Booth will work with most Canon or Nikon DSLR cameras that support tethering. Darkroom Booth will also work with most Windows supported webcams. Below is a list of the most common. *This is not a complete list - If you are using an older model Nikon or Canon and don’t see it on this list, please email or call us for compatibility information. Not all cameras will work with every operating system. We recommend testing prior to purchase or use at an event. Please note: the Nikon D3100, D3200 and D3300 do not support tethering and therefore will not work with Booth or any other photo booth software.
Canon Point & Shoot
GoPro Hero 4 Silver and Black
Darkroom Booth works with ANY printer that works with Windows.
Additionally, Darkroom Booth has built-in drivers for the following printers. A built in driver makes it easier to connect your printer and adds a little print speed.
Supported Operating Systems
Darkroom Booth will run fine on any computer or laptop running Windows 10 as well as Windows 7, 8 or 8.1*. If you want to use lots of advanced Booth features (big live views, live green screen, multiple/large graphics), and you want it snappy with high-frame rates, then we recommend at least an i3 Intel processor with 4 GB of RAM as the minimum. For video related features an i5 or higher is recommended. Booth will also work on tablets running Windows 8* or 10 but not Windows RT.
*Video related features are not supported in Windows 7. For best results with regular video, Slow Motion video and Burst mode we recommend Windows 10. Activation on Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 require some Windows component updates for activation. Please contact email@example.com for help. Microsoft will no longer support Windows 7 after January 2020, as a result Darkroom cannot recommend Windows 7.
Booth is Windows software and there is no Mac version. Booth will run in Boot Camp, but not in virtual environments (no Parallels or Fusion).
